Pumpkin Spice Cheerios™

Gluten-Free Pumpkin Spice Cheerios | kumquatblog.com @kumquatblog

(disclosure: as co-founder of blog brulee i was compensated by general mills bell institute of health and nutrition for their sponsorship of the event. all opinions are my own.)

it may just be true that my third and youngest child may be the luckiest of the three.

she has big brother and a big sister who are always at the ready to entertain her. she was born into a home already outfitted to the ceiling with every toy a kid could ever need, boy or girl. and she’s the only baby that’s been lucky enough to snack on the iconic kid-snack, cheerios™.

because our whole family is gluten-free, we’d had to skip those yellow boxes on the cereal aisle until recently. general mills now uses gluten-free oats to manufacture cheerios™ and many of their other cereals, making them safe for gluten-free eaters to enjoy!

those cheerios™ are made from 100% natural whole grain gluten-free oats. they also have no high fructose corn syrup and no artificial colors or flavors. see why she’s so lucky!?

my two big kids think they’re pretty lucky, too, because we recently snagged a couple boxes of the limited edition pumpkin spice cheerios™ at the grocery store. now my kids can’t get enough of them. pumpkin spice cheerios™ are made with real pumpkin puree and a delicious blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. everything you’d want in your holiday bowl of cereal and nothing you wouldn’t. two thumbs way up from my crew.

honestly, i think life is pretty good for all of them!

you can be lucky, too. head to your local grocery store and grab a box for yourself today for an autumn cereal treat. and feel confident that that bowl of cheerios™ you remember can be back on your gluten-free table again.

if you’re a registered dietitian, like me, be sure to take advantage of all of that general mills bell institute of health and nutrition has to offer you. it is definitely a don’t-miss when it comes to research, customizable resources, and even continuing education. be sure to check them out!
